You right wingnut BS artists have been whining about Ruby Ridge and Waco for years.....making excuses for an ex-con who violated his parole and then wouldn't comply with the Feds when they went to bring him in and opted for a shoot out....and then making excuses for a doomsday cult leader, who came on the ATF's radar for stockpiling illegal weapons, who had 1 full month to surrender to the feds, but instead chose suicide by cop. These are the people you defend.
Then you blame law enforcement for the the Oklahoma City bombing, although the culprits were the documented violent white supremacist group Aryan nation.
Unreal.
But the clincher is that you had NO PROBLEM with the Patriot Act or the creation of Homeland Security so long as you thought it was anyone of islamic faith or middle eastern extraction that was the target....Now you're going to whine because the very system you condoned is now going after (yet another) outburst of anti-gov't/alt-right anarchy.
Like I told you jokers almost 20 years ago...be careful what you wish for.
Yes, I am. The last time the Left went after the radical Right "militias" was in Clinton's first two years of office. Ruby Ridge, then Waco, and it ended with the Oklahoma City bombing. The last was a direct result of those same radicals deciding the government was coming for them instead of leaving them alone. Waco was a national disgrace. The FBI was badly tainted by Ruby Ridge. There were plenty of other less known fiascos by the ATF, FBI, etc., against other Right wing "militia" groups and individuals that were doing nothing up to that point.
I do blame
the government for causing the Oklahoma City bombing. Had the above actions not occurred, McVey and Nichols would have been a couple of losers in a trailer park and little more. They were completely motivated by watching a giddy MSM gush about how the radical Right was being taken down, and that required government action. Neither McVey or Nichols was a member of any particular radical Right group, and certainly not part of the "Aryan Nation." That is a prison gang with small numbers, and neither McVey or Nichols had prison records.
And, I do have a problem with the Patriot Act and institution of the Department of Homeland Security. The former tramples some parts of the Constitution, and the later was an unnecessary expansion of the cabinet and federal government.
Yea, be careful what you wish for... I suggest leaving the radical Right alone and focus on good governance. But knowing the Left they'll go after their enemies first and to hell with good governance...
