    I'd rather not live in either as both seem to generate a totalitarian government.

    You can purchase stock in the "mixed market" companies. That isn't socialism.

    The reality is, while you really want socialism to work, the government owned system of production doesn't exist there so it is not an example of socialism "working" at any level. Even in the website you give they talk of "mixed" system.

    While there is more government in the business than we would be comfortable with, it is still not socialism by any traditional definition. Nor is Denmark, Sweden, etc.
