Default Oxford Debates - what real debates look like

Freedom of speech, thoughts, plans, ideas.

    Notable takeaways:
"It's more dangerous to NOT know what your opponent/enemy is thinking."
"Being protected from offenses and insults or from hurt feelings......it is an occupational hazard of living in society."

    From July, 2019...

Abortion rights dogma can obscure human reason & harden the human heart so much that the same person who feels
empathy for animal suffering can lack compassion for unborn children who experience lethal violence and excruciating
    pain in abortion.

Unborn animals are protected in their nesting places, humans are not. To abort something is to end something
which has begun. To abort life is to end it.

Interesting. What I know of you is non-stop vulgar personal attacks. Now you're interested in formal debate?!

Never once name-called another poster regarding their personal life. Just stuck with political and issue-driven views. Never used vulgarity...although I have that right, yet chose not to.
    Grow up and take it.

That still doesn't help that a private business may not want to be associated with a particular school of thought. Freedom of or FROM association is also protected by the Constitution. (This often butts heads with anti-discrimination laws)

I actually come here BECAUSE there's so much conservative nonsense being posted. Friends close, enemies closer etc etc.

What surprises me about Trump supporters is how ignorant they are. They think saying something makes it true.

I think it's more like they think their supposition has the same -worth- as fact. They say they just want their unfounded claims of election fraud to be investigated with one breath, then with the other shout "stop the steal" which implies they've already made up their mind.

We don't have to share the same ideology, but Americans must share the same set of facts.

if that's your stance, you are a publisher, not a platform.

Absolutely agree on PERSONAL level of freedom of association. People are free to speak and associate with whomever they like.

In England, even deaf people speak with their stiff fingers.
