Learning a second (and third and fourth and fifth) language is the best way to become truly proficient in one's first language. Many people find it difficult to understand sentence structures, verb conjugations, gender pronouns, etc. without a context for how another language works. Because most Americans are notoriously well known for never seriously studying other languages, they can't even fucking speak English. I have lived in every corner of this planet and have never seen worse native speakers than English-speaking Americans. In all seriousness, most of the world speaks, writes, reads, and understands better English than Americans do. Gawd help them when they try to write in English. In any event, education is a worthy pursuit. You look like a very ignorant person (and a complete asshole, which everyone already knew) when you demean Owl's efforts.
Lastly: I learned English and Spanish at the same time. They were my second and third languages, although I can't really say one came before the other. Now compare my English writing skills to yours. Case closed.

depending on the subject and who pays for it , education can also be a complete wast of time and money .
in her case Im sure she didn't pay for it all and there is little to any practical use for it, but it sure sounds like a big important thing. I'm guessing basket weaving would be more useful.
but its nice to see you sucking each others dicks and slapping each other on the backs like true progressive democrats congratulation each other on a waste of time and effort that has little to no practical use in the world

When I saw the thread title, I was sure this was going to be about Trump's Presidency ending in chaos, and with him wallowing in self-pity about losing and whimpering about "massive voter fraud."

Indeed. You can always tell someone who's not very bright and seethes with envy of others who are when they put down education. Sad but not surprising, given the fact that the tard worships the world's most ignorant willful idiot, #LOSER45.
BTW, you are right about languages and learning them, and how poorly many Americans speak and/or write English. Yet they're proud of that.
