Default Trump leaves White House with his lowest-ever approval rating

Looks like Trump got his wish and is now in the record books:

    https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/...ng/4173571001/
Trump leaves White House with his lowest-ever approval rating after Capitol riot, impeachmentAs he prepares to leave office, President Donald Trump's job approval marks are on a downward spiral, led by sinking support among his Republican base, following last week's riot at the Capitol and subsequent impeachment.

In a new poll from the Pew Research Center, only 29% of Americans said they approve of how Trump is handling his job – the lowest of his tumultuous presidency and down 9 percentage points from August. Sixty-eight percent said they disapprove of his job performance.

Driving the decline, only 60% of Republicans and voters who lean Republican approve of Trump's job performance, the poll found, a drop from 77% in August. Trump's positive marks from Democrats – already near rock bottom – dropped one percentage point to 4% from 5%.

Any chance Melania told them to use live ammo?

I believe that there are many more Republicans who want to be conservatives and
not be considered "deplorable" aka "the stupid party" by its opposition, rather than those who want to destroy everything and punt a hard
fought global empire to China Russia and chaos (illegal world order of crime).

The fundamental precept needs to be conservatism. It can still embrace the hard working, salt of the earth white Christians
and conservative intelligentsia. But by punting its "elites," (sad that is now a naughty word) they have brought utter contempt
upon themselves. How successful can an organization be, any organization, when it decides that smart people and smart ideas have no place,
and only brute force matters? A successful political party must cross social strata, and certainly not cut out its own brain and have
middle management exploiting demagogues lie to the foot soldiers, the voters.

I like my odds of winning, being what now is called a commie by the right, (despite that I voted for Reagan Bush 1 &2 1st term)
but I like America's chances better if we have two parties that include all social strata and geography, not a rural versus urban
    cold war.

When Trump's terrorists talked about civil war, maybe they meant the civil war going on inside the Republican party now that Trump is leaving.

Maybe, but then maybe they could be so kind as to leave us out of it. "Liberals" formerly conservatives don't visit their internecine squabbles on the Capitol.
On the other hand, these aren't rational actors. (outwardly appearing)

Not sure if this is true, but I saw on the net that Trump is demanding a twenty-one gun salute upon his departure from DC.

Do living people even get them?
And even if they do, do orangutans get them?

I've personally got no problem with it as long as they use live ammo and point the weapons at him.

Yes, but I hoped that the example would no longer be so much like 18th century American dueling politicians. Actually that's civil in comparison.

It's SOP regardless if the fucker deserves it or not.

    https://history.army.mil/html/faq/salute.html
Today the national salute of 21 guns is fired in honor of a national flag, the sovereign or chief of state of a foreign nation, a member of a reigning royal family, and the President, ex-President and President-elect of the United States. It is also fired at noon of the day of the funeral of a President, ex-President, or President-elect.

No an "incitement", since a DEMOCRAT posted it.
