That is a laymans definition of bankruptcy. Something you googled. There is a lot more to it than that and many ways to get around things. All sanctioned by Congress by the way.

There's two kinds of people in a group like that: Fucking greedy ass lawyers and true believers. The greed ass lawyers will be kicked out of leadership and the truel believers will take over. Agreed. Even so, it was like watching a bickering couple fight. The NRA had gone too political during the Clinton administration in reaction to efforts to ban guns.

I think becoming too political instead of staying true to the purpose is what led to the corruption and collapse. LaPierre won't be back. If he is, then the NRA is doomed.

Regardless, millions of gun owners will find a substitute one way or another.
