OP thinks Chapter 11 means an organization is "dead".

Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code (Title 11 of the United States Code) permits reorganization under the bankruptcy laws of the United States. Such reorganization, known as "Chapter 11 bankruptcy", is available to every business, whether organized as a corporation, partnership or sole proprietorship, and to individuals, although it is most prominently used by corporate entities.

General Motors Corporation filed Chapter 11.

So did Chrysler, Texaco, and Delta Air Lines.

    Are they "dead"?

    That's called fraud.

Like Hillary, corruption will bring down an organization every time.

As a non-profit, I hope they stay more true to the main mission than LaPierre's political path of avarice.

Yeah, Mr. Owl was just saying the same thing -- that they used to be great, and LaPierre turned them into a crazy group.

Trump OWNS your party now. Those supporters aren't going anywhere.

"Democrats are going to keep them going"?

All those who deserve it, the NRA has not been what it was created to be for over 20 years.

BWAA-HA-HA-HA-HAAAAA Welcome to Texas!! Good guys win again!
I don't think the NRA understands what filing for bankruptcy means. It means that the creditors and the court control their finances and until both agree on the final plan for the NRA, the NRA can't dissolve or move money. An attempt to get around that by creating a new entity could well be seen by the court as fraud.

Texas currently represents what America used to be. Cap'n. How long that will last is open to question. I suspect it won't last long, given the new way that DEMOCRATS "win" elections.
