I've been told it's a mis-translation, and what's on offer is only raisins.

Polls are amazingly meaningful. They invariably are correct in forecasting results of all elections which are not flawed by electoral colleges
and Russian interference and James Comey surprises. If you are not measuring reality, it isn't the poll execution that's the problem, it's the poll's substance.

    Proper poll question for 2016:

If you read a bunch of lies about Hillary from Russia, and James Comey opens an investigation into her use of emails within days of voting,
and you are overrepresented because you live in a state all alone except for you and the sheep you fuck on cold ronery nights, will you vote for Trump?

So you can't define 'socially regressive'. Gotit. Yet another meaningless buzzword.

Math errors: Failure to use raw data. Failure to declare variance. Failure to calculate margin of error. Failure to select by randN. Failure to normalize by paired randR. Use of summary as prediction.
Logic errors (fallacies). Circular argument fallacy. Argument from randU fallacy. Boundary fallacy. Buzzword fallacy. Reality is not quantitative.

Random numbers are not data. Denial of the Constitution of the United States. Denial of statistical mathematics.

    Loaded question. Irrelevant. Whataboutism.

I will say it again, right here, just to be clear. It has more to do with mathematics and modeling than anything else. It is considered it's own branch of science. it is not part of physics.
You have never set foot on a college campus, have you?

Quantum mechanics was never mentioned in any university-level math class I took. Quantum mechanics was a core concept in all the university-level physics courses I took.

Yes I have. I also know what kind of idiots teach on college campuses.

Math is not a university or any course. Science is not a university or any course. Quantum mechanics is not physics.
Math is a closed functional system, defined by its axioms and NOTHING ELSE.
Science is a set of falsifiable theories.
Physics is the study of nature, matter, and energy.
Quantum mechanics is not matter, or energy. It is theories about what matter and energy are made up of. It's most visible contribution to science is the construction of the periodic table of the elements that we use today in physics and chemistry.

No one has ever seen a quark. We have seen effects of them, and are currently building a table of quarks similar to the table of the elements.
No one has ever seen any lepton. We have only seen the effects of them. The most well known lepton, of course, is the electron.
No one has ever seen a boson. We have only seen the effects of them. It is simply theorized that there are such particles, and we have given them names.

An example on a larger scale is the simple naming of hydrogen. That is not science. That is simply naming something, like naming a species of animal a dog.

Even the current model of the atom is subject to change, if the theory constructing it turns out to be falsified.

NO theory is ever proven True, not even theories of science. Science is an open functional systems. There are no proofs, and prediction is not possible. Theories of science explain, they do not predict. They MUST be transcribed into a closed functional system, such as mathematics, to gain the power of prediction. That translation results in an equation, also known as a 'law'.
