Not much of a comparison there.

Trump is one of the worst economic Presidents we have had in modern history.

    No excuses either.

Trump's economic claims of success were just taking credit for the vibrant and growing economy that Obama left. It was on an upward slope and Trump said he did that. He took a year and a half to get a tax bill through that allowed the wealthy to take the money. Some of us know who Trump works for.

ROFL.. why dont you look at pre-Covid? you know when THE ECONOMY WAS LOCKED DOWN.
Or look at the recovery leading the world again/
Or look at househld income gains..or the fact the Obama recovery went to the rich?
While the Trump boom was skewed to lower income gains?

Nope, you do not get to chop off the part of the economic record you do not like.

Barack Obama had to inherit an economic meltdown from George Dumbya Bush, and had to eat all the bad economic numbers Bush handed to him.

Presidents are supposed to be able to deftly manage crises.

If they don't, they get fired.

Trump will always be judged by what he did in totality in his first term

By January, Trumpf will be leaving President Elect Biden a dumpster fire.

Net loss of three million jobs in one term
300,000 Americans dead from a pandemic.

    Default Failed one term president

Trump. The only president in 75 years to leave office with fewer Americans employed than when he started.

"Trump will leave office with a historically bad economic record"

Maybe he shouldn't have lied about the virus and downplayed it.

Presidents are supposed to be the kind of leaders who can deal adeptly with crises

Otherwise, they do not deserve to be President.

It's the President's job to figure that out.

Trump chose denial and dishonesty. He didn't confront this crisis head-on, or with any kind of courage or creativity.

Where was his small business plan? Where were the ideas for transitioning to a remote workforce for larger corporations? Where was the real assistance that was needed by so many? How about not making masks a "debate" so that more consumers could have confidence?

He tried to just cover his eyes and ears and hope it would go away.
