Look around, nobody even cares at this point because they think it's just another dumb political move by the democrats.

This is not going to help you keep the house in the midterms.
It's gonna be old news by then. There can be little doubt the Republican Party will attempt to dust itself off and try to make a come-back. But before that can happen the Republican Party is going to have to do some serious soul searching to try to figure out just what it is they stand for. Being the party of Trump has not worked out very well for them. What's next? Doubling down?

No, when he was released he had to return to ‘Nam. He had only been in country for eight weeks when he was wounded.

No need to buckle up. Biden won't be tweeting incendiary verbal grenades.

    Goodbye Son of the Revolution,

Incorrect and insignificant. It is mildly amusing (for a very short moment) that respect is mentioned.

Your view just became utterly irrelevant because you can't express it in a respectful way. It is imperative for functional discourse that the participants recognize the rights of one another to their own views about the national issues and refrain from making things personal. (which accomplishes nothing)

I understand that the lack of rules leads to a forum which becomes mostly a collection of disgruntled people calling each other names.

That's fine for people who can't relate to others IRL, and gravitate to chat rooms to vent their frustrations. It is to be expected. And for those caught up in the mundane, that becomes a sad and endless pointless loop.

For those who seek to make the best of the time they spend here, and we certainly do exist, it is logical to filter out the abrasiveness, scroll past it, and seek out only the higher quality posts.

For that reason, your name has been added to my permanent Ignore List with zero chance of ever being removed.

He thought he was paying Rudy to install him as Grand Emperor of the Universe for life. For most people 'not impeached' is a pretty low bar. They suck at everything.

I, for one, applaud a return to respect and decency.

Political discourse has taken a decidedly downward turn during the last 4 years. Hopefully it just bottomed out.

Ouch. That was before my time. My WestPac tours were in the early 80s. The Med in the late 80s.

I guess you are unaware of how good the GOP actually did in the election, they don't have to do a thing other then let you democrats be democrats.

You already sabotaged Biden with your witch hunt for Trump.

The GOP had a better than expected election night for one reason..... a one time unholy alliance between the Never Trumpers and the Trump cult. They voted together on down ballot races. The Georgia Senate runoffs are proof that the down ballot election success of the GOP was a one time thing. The GOP is dead. Finished.

Funny, I heard that same thing after Obama's term ended.

How'd that work out for you?
