Sasse is a little bit strange. After all the storming of the Capitol Building, and during the debate that continued afterward in the Senate, in his very next speech he said,
"America can't do big things if we hate our neighbors. Visit the widower down the street who's lonely and didn't want to tell anybody that his wife died and he doesn't have a lot of friends. Shovel somebody's driveway." STOP! HOLD IT RIGHT THERE!

I just thought it was weird and sounded like he was trying to cover up or play down what just happened and trying to say- everyone was to blame here when everyone is not to blame.
