Leading up to the election Trump said repeatedly that he would only lose if the election were stolen. On its face this is an unintelligent statement. Biden stood not only a chance at winning but a good chance at winning. The polling averages in fact gave him a better chance than Trump. This was true specifically of Georgia, a state where the election would be administered by members of his own party. On election eve, the polling on average gave Biden a small lead in Georgia, and, sure enough, Biden won the state by a small margin. Yet Trump claimed in the phone call yesterday that he won the state by 50,000 votes while providing no factual basis whatsoever for the margin. This again is unintelligent. It's really quite stupid. Or it's insincere, and Trump is lying. Your pick. It has to be one or the other.

In my opinion he is certainly lying, in the belief his sheep like, genuinely unintelligent following will believe whatever he tells them and that GOP officials who know better will follow along. But there's also an argument to be made against the man's working intelligence and the extent to which he's a victim of his own fantasies.

He really believes that. There is no way Biden could have won, because Trump was drawing thousands to his rallies, and Biden only had "about 100." I've seen a lot of Trump supporters parrot that, also.

He said he won by 50,000 votes, then he changed that to half a million votes. Go big or go home. Trump won Georgia by a trillion billion gazillion votes. Everyone knows it.

Right. Whichever, the point is his claim is meritless on its face and those that pretend to take it seriously only join in the lying and stupidity. Members of Congress will be joining in the lying and stupidity on Wednesday when they attempt to foist the lies on the American people.
