Now that it has arrived, miraculously fast, we are failing utterly to administer it with anything like the urgency the pace of dying requires — and, perhaps most maddeningly, failing in precisely the same way as we did earlier in the year. It doesn't take a magic wand. There is no point in rushing the development of a vaccine if you don't have concrete plans on getting it out to the population quickly.

Again: at the current pace, it will take close to 10 years to achieve herd immunity. It's pointless. They need to figure it out, and figure it out quickly.

The hospital my GF works at bought special freezers for their shipments when they applied for their requested allotment.

small town hospital is having no problems? Maybe it's the state's governments who are screwing up?
