    Default And so it begins

Convinced that President Donald Trump lost his bid for reelection, the media suddenly became less hysterical. Just like that, the media, at least to some degree, rediscovered concepts such as fairness and perspective, AWOL the last four years.

Two weeks after the election, New York Times Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist Nicholas Kristof haltingly, grudgingly and reluctantly, admitted that yes, Trump was right. Banning in-person school education to fight COVID-19 was and is bad policy. Kristof wrote: "Some things are true even though President Trump says them. Trump has been demanding for months that schools reopen, and on that he seems to have been largely right. Schools, especially elementary schools, do not appear to have been major sources of coronavirus transmission, and remote learning is proving to be a catastrophe for many low-income children.

The reporting on COVID would change after the Bad Orange Man is gone except the NYT isn’t even waiting for the Biden regime to be installed.

Just like that, Trump is allowed to be right. Well, on one or two things at least. Like schools staying open. The left reduced school children to political pawns just to keep Trump from being right on a pivotal issue in an election year.

Such is the depth of their depravity. And now they are in power. Let that thought sink in.

At any rate, in very large part, the media is a joke.

Trump’s Final Days of Rage and Denial
The last act of the Trump presidency has taken on the stormy elements of a drama more common to history or literature than a modern White House

Mr. Trump’s video was so out of touch with the facts that both Facebook and Twitter appended warning notices lest viewers actually believe what the president of the United States was telling them. Which explains why the only topic other than the election to draw Mr. Trump’s interest over the last week was the annual defense bill that he vowed to veto because Congress did not strip legal protection for big technology companies as he has demanded.

The subject that seemed of no particular interest to the president was the coronavirus now ravaging the country he leads worse than ever. Rather than “rounding the corner,” as Mr. Trump insisted before the election, the pandemic this past week began killing a record high of nearly 3,000 people in the United States every day, almost the equivalent of another Sept. 11, 2001, attack every 24 hours.

Mr. Trump made no comment on that in his Twitter rants nor about the latest jobs report documenting the economic toll, taking no leadership role in the middle of America’s deadliest crisis in generations. The only four tweets he did post mentioning the virus were more about defending his own handling of it, including reposted messages asserting that “The president was RIGHT.”.

Couple of points, first, two reports from two sources hardly measures a turn around, second, when was the media “hysterical,” and lastly, if you don’t think the media is giving Covid front page attention you have really have been locked in the OAN/Fox bubble

Never said it wouldn’t be covered.

The claim is the coverage *would change*. And after all the ‘breathless’ reporting the last four years—well, you have to be blind not to see it.

You can say that YOU claimed that - but Trump and the vast majority of his spellbound followers said it would disappear after election day.

It didn't. It increased. Wrong again.

I don’t care what Trump said or didn’t.

I said the coverage would change. Guess I’m like Trump—I’m not allowed to be right lol.

It hasn’t changed, still gets top billing, and as far as Trump, it, and Americans, have long given up on Trump to address the issue

Again, I never said it wouldn’t get top billing or ‘not be covered’ lol.

Soon, the left and their media lap dogs will lose their Trump piñata but COVID will still be around.

    Then what?

Some great points, but the left isn't in power.

Deranged, Nazi-like conservatives (aka Democrats) are in power.

And the reason DemoNazis are in power is because they slashed socialist throats.

Calling Democrats the left is like calling Nazis Jews.
