Default Atheists, what worth does your atheism have outside of society?

The reality for atheists is that:

You live in a society or societies where most people believe in a God; society, therefore has rejected your atheism in its entirety - by continuing to propagate and spread your filth rather than conforming to society, you are nothing but a antisocial pestilence who deserves no tolerance whatsoever, society, thus far has been merciful in not simply having you executed, when the reality is that many societies which believe in a God would not simply "tolerate" you at all, but would very well have you stoned to death for your apostacy.

So no, the onus on you living in a society which has rejected your atheism and denial of God, is for you to either shut up, and keep your filth in the closet, and out of the offense of the public eye, or for you to conform to society and convert to Christianity, or at very least, a monotheistic faith. Your atheism has no "worth" or merit beyond what a God-believing society has ordained, and thankfully the have ordained correctly to label you as mere apostates, freaks, degenerates, and evildoers, following in the wicked footsteps of your atheistic "saint" the Marquis de Sade, rejecting, God, morality, ethics and purity, in favor of aberrant and carnal lusts - whether it be rape, pornography, sodomy, pedophilia, bestiality, murder, infanticide or whatever other disease, freakery, and pestilence is the atheist's flavor of the day.

You sound like someone from Saudi Arabia describing a 'Sorcerer' or 'Witch' being put on Trial.
(have you considered moving back to the Middle East?)

With this kind of thinking, Marcus probably THINKS this is a 'political' topic.

I reported the OP. Let's see if the mods do their job. I give him credit for not putting it in current events like most other dummies here would.

Man was that ignorant. Being an atheist is clean and neat. No filth at all. I do not deny god. I do not deny the Easter Bunny or Santa either. Made up personages do not enter in my thoughts until you suckers bring it up. I do no evil and commit no crimes. I have volunteered for charities and donate both time and money for charities and the occasional panhandler.
Once you toss the silly god crap out of your life, it does not make everything possible. We have consciences and do right because it helps us all and makes us feel better. I do not need to fear hell to do right. I cannot cheat and then pray it away, or confess it away. If I do wrong , I carry it forever.
Christians paint a bad picture of atheists because they do not know a thing about us.

Now, when I talked to God, I knew He'd understand
He said, "Stick by my side and I'll be your guiding hand
But don't ask me what I think of you
I might not give the answer that you want me to"
    Ooh, well

I do wonder about a person whose faith is so flimsy and frail that he/she is somehow terribly threatened by those who don't share it. Which would *you* rather live next door to?

    1. An atheist who never brings up religion at all because like most of them, it has no importance or meaning.

    2. A Muslim Jihadist who is constantly warning others that they better get with Allah, or else.

    3. A fundie Christian who keeps wanting to share his excitement about Jesus every time he sees you outside, invites you to his church constantly, and won't take no for an answer?

You forgot that Atheists aren't always so friendly about these things. What you are wanting is a person that doesn't have any religious holdings for or against. They are the ones that won't give a shit.

The reality for an idiot like you is forgetting where your right to practice christianity comes from....

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

which would also include people who proselytize for atheism......you anti constitutional unamerican moron
A sad commentary on we, as a people, and our viewpoint of our freedom can be summed up like this. We have liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans, yet those very people look at Constitutionalists as radical and extreme.................so those liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans must believe that the constitution is radical and extreme.

lol, reminds me of the time I made a mistake asking a Mormon colleague if I could take a gander at his Book of Mormon out of curiosity. (I'd heard there was a lot of weird shit in it.)
He invited me to his house, finagled me into watching a short film about how converting would change my life for the better. No matter how much I said I was just fine being Episcopal (at the time) he and his wife almost became hostile and when I left (they insisted repeatedly that I stay) , the wife was in tears because I wouldn't convert.
    That's some fucked up behavior.

Pretty much how I was treated by my own family as a child. Get demanding I convert to Christianity.

You were cognizant enough to be an atheist as a child?

I knew that anything I was forced to believe could not be good.
