That is valid & many entertainers are going to have to do that........
They will have to adjust, as do we all during our life times......
Some places they can play w/out issue, others totally closed..
Do those old men really want to play in a packed venue full of thousands of ppl in doors in the middle of flu season, cold season, in the middle of a pandemic??
I wouldn't, I would head to warmer weather & kick back on a beach some place....
"There is no question former President Trump bears moral responsibility. His supporters stormed the Capitol because of the unhinged falsehoods he shouted into the world’s largest megaphone," McConnell wrote. "His behavior during and after the chaos was also unconscionable, from attacking Vice President Mike Pence during the riot to praising the criminals after it ended."

Their concern is over the disappearance of live music venues due to the lockdown, some would say their priorities are f*cked up given the realities, which would be worse, the temporary loss of live music or the permanent loss of life?
Often some people with money know they will receive the best medical care and attention if stricken with an ailment and don’t internalize the dangers as say the average shmuck on the street does.
And on top of that, they are wrong;
”Covid infections in England fall by 30% over lockdown - React study”

Well the blues by whites is cultural appropriation. There is no argument that can be made to the contrary. But is a good kind of appropriation, compare it to "misappropriation."
Imitation is sincere flattery in this case. But to argue the blues was not a black artform first is nonsense, if that is what gnatta is attempting to say.
not "are going to have to do that" more like "have been doing that"
and the bands never stopped playing before even during swine flu.
By next May or so we should be at herd immunity (estimate) - but performers are not getting anything
and they aren't employees getting UE or stimulus either / and they're arent always day jobs either.
Nationwide the national average is 30% of small business are shut down - what good has it done?
Now that I've definitively settled that let's argue jazz.
Will live music survive a post-coronavirus world?

For rank-and-file, jobbing musicians across Europe, the lockdowns have been a disaster.
Live shows are the most obvious casualty, but the bread and butter for many musicians: teaching, session work, recording and producing work with bands, has also dropped off.
“Everything I had the diary - gone, in heartbeat,” John Mitchell, a musician and producer who tours with the bands Lonely Robot, Frost*, It Bites and Arena and runs Outhouse Studios in England, said.
“I don’t really know what I’m going to do.”
what good has it done?
Saved roughly a million human lives in the US alone. (some of the "shut down" was not by edict, it is people changing behavior by personal volition.)
When there is a pandemic, many small in person businesses are going to shutter, whether of not Fauci gives the good advice to stay home.
Personally when I hear people are dropping like flies, I don't need someone to tell me to shop less, eat out less, stop going to gyms.
And that is going to shut businesses, same as a bad product or a high price.
