don't get me wrong, I support BLM and i believe most police forces have racist or bigoted officers that need to be kicked out, and training and procedures need to be reformed in general. i believe there is systemic injustice in police and judicial systems through out the country, but it is more economic based, than race based.

but to say black people have unequal access and unequal civil rights in this country is bullshit. we have passed laws that confirm their equal rights, both at the federal and state level, and if they actually know anybody being denied, they should turn it in and quit bitching about it.

Lots of people are but I make two points:

1) The economic model of major league sports have long been unsustainable because of greed, there was always going to be a crash with a wall.

2) I am one of the people who has been arguing for two decades that spectator sports are too celebrated, that they suck up too much of our time money and energy, resources that could be better spent elsewhere, so I am not sorry to see sports atrophy, and I was primed to leave anyway.
