And somehow, we always make it through those years. And in fact, capitalism generally thrives in those years more than it does in the Republican admins I've lived through.

January of 2021 is important, because the Georgia elections will decide who has the majority of the Senate.

Republicans say they will put all their effort into defeating Biden. That does not feel like a winning strategy. It gives Biden a ready excuse for any problems, and makes clear that Republicans are not a party of solutions.

But on the other hand, letting Biden fix the problems of America would not be a winning strategy either.

The media also shares considerable blame for what went on the past four years. Without them constantly harping on Trump/Russia, the Russian hoax would have withered on the vine. There was a reason, after all, all of the leaks went to WashPO and others: they were willing tools of the coup plotters. There needed to be sufficient political will for Mullets appointment and the media was out front pulling the wagon.
