Even a 3rd grader can figure it out I wonder why you can't. Different masks filter down to certain micron levels. The virus is about .3 microns. N95 masks filter up to 95% at that level, multilayered masks filter 25 to 40%, single layer masks and scarves filter about 10%. So the better the mask the safer you are. Is that too deep for you?

You have not demonstrated that you have any idea what size the virus or droplets are compared to the size of the pores in the mask. You have not explained HOW those "larger" pores that are absolutely enormous stop a tiny virus. When we see the size comparison of pores vs virus, there is some explaining to do if the narrative is that those giant pores stop that tiny little virus.
