To give you one , of many, examples of his racist background, on the 2nd of July, 2010, Biden a delivered a eulogy (a funeral speech) for one Robert Byrd. Robert Byrd was a former member of the Ku Klux Klan. Byrd once managed to recruit 150 men into the KKK in West Virginia, enough to form a new chapter of the Klan there. When the "Grand Dragon" heard about this he was very impressed indeed, and Robert Byrd was promoted to "Exalted Cyclops," which means he was the top officer in the local Klan. If you go to the time, 1:43:12, on the video below you will be able to see Biden giving his eulogy for Byrd....

So, Byrd was a POS, but so is Biden. The butt-licking speech he gave at Byrd's funeral, made my skin crawl. Biden is one of the biggest slime - balls and creepezoids I've ever seen in my life.
