    His plan was:

    a) Abandon the existing deal which did include limits and the ability to inspect.

    b) Force them into negotiating a more advantageous deal for the US by using increased sanctions.

Now we are at the end of his term and the result has been:

    c) Scrap the existing deal, enter a stalemate, and cause them to expel inspectors.

    d) Force them to increase their side of the ante by resuming nuclear refinement.

The situation has been degraded, not improved.

"There is no question former President Trump bears moral responsibility. His supporters stormed the Capitol because of the unhinged falsehoods he shouted into the world’s largest megaphone," McConnell wrote. "His behavior during and after the chaos was also unconscionable, from attacking Vice President Mike Pence during the riot to praising the criminals after it ended."

the money was actually in escrow pending judgement -and I never could figure out why wire transfer wern't used.
The plane load of cash was used to immediately fund Quds and terrorism - which is the problem not the payment itself (interest on the principle is another matter -but enough)

firing into the sea is like pissing into the wind - it gets Kim nowhere, it's not even part of ballistic missile testing anymore.

However Guam, Hawaii, Japan etc. are DEFINATELY happy Kim is pissing into the wind
it's symbolic saber rattling -much better then actual threat scenarios

That could be for several reason~including trump, China, or no need to test them any longer??

It is almost impossible to imagine him giving up nukes or anything resembling normal there as long as he can be shipped off to spend the rest of his life in a cell @ The Hague like many petty tyrants before him

Trump wouldn't know a good faith negotiation if it bit him in the butt.

Its hilarious when the Regressive Left trots out the ideal of good faith....something that they never/almost never do themselves.
The bottom line is that conservatives cant admit to themselves the Evil they have allowed to romp on their watch.

    This is going to hurt.

Oh I agree on that part. It's a main reason Bolton got fired for daring to tell the truth about the
"Libya example" to Kim during negotiations.

He doesn't know how to negotiate.

All he knows how to do is look for some kind of leverage and flex it.

In this case, all he did was impose sanctions and then offer to lift them if Iran talks.

They have said no way, lift the sanctions first, we had a deal, you reneged.

"“Trump got rid of the Iran nuclear deal because it was Barack Obama’s agreement,” said Jarrett Blanc, a former State Department official who helped oversee the 2015 deal’s implementation. “If you were to present to Trump the same deal and call it Trump’s deal, he’d be thrilled.”"

    ...

He’s said he’s “not looking for war,” wants to talk to Iran without preconditions and isn’t interested in regime change. He called off a military strike on Iran over its downing of an unmanned U.S. drone, overriding the advice of several top aides. His main public demand is that Iran not build nuclear weapons. In return, Trump has offered to help revive Iran’s sanctions-battered economy.

To observers, that sounds suspiciously like the 2015 deal.

“They can't have a nuclear weapon,” Trump said Tuesday. “We want to help them. We will be good to them. We will work with them. We will help them in any way we can. But they can't have a nuclear weapon."

    ...

"Several European officials express astonishment at the audacity of the Trump administration demanding that Iran adhere to the deal when the U.S. the one who breached the agreement in the first place."

    ...

"Europeans “know that the original sin causing the current escalation in the Gulf is the U.S. violation of the Iran nuclear deal,” said Nathalie Tocci, an adviser to European Union foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini. “At the same time, they are terribly concerned about the escalation and the threat it poses to the Middle East and to Europe itself.”"

    ...

"Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is generally believed to be in the camp that wants a deal, but he’s also laid out a set of 12 conditions on Iran that are so broad they may be damaging the odds of talks. A third U.S. official who confirmed the outlines of the internal debate said Pompeo may be worried about his future in the Republican Party and whether engaging in any sort of negotiation with Iran could damage it."

Trump’s "better deal" with Iran looks a lot like Obama’s
Just a quick snapshot of Biden's immediate future, only think of it compounding from there.

Free speech is cool as long as it jibes with our program.
