Good point, where is his better deal?

His plan was:

a) Abandon the existing deal which did include limits and the ability to inspect.

b) Force them into negotiating a more advantageous deal for the US by using increased sanctions.

Now we are at the end of his term and the result has been:

c) Scrap the existing deal, enter a stalemate, and cause them to expel inspectors.

d) Force them to increase their side of the ante by resuming nuclear refinement.

The situation has been degraded, not improved.

The Iran nuke pact did exactly that. It was bigly in our and the middle east's favor. Trump just killed it because it was Obama.

The plane load of cash was used to immediately fund Quds and terrorism - which is the problem not the payment itself (interest on the principle is another matter -but enough)

He said he could make a better deal, but he has failed to even get any talks started.

He doesn't know how to negotiate.

All he knows how to do is look for some kind of leverage and flex it.

In this case, all he did was impose sanctions and then offer to lift them if Iran talks.

They have said no way, lift the sanctions first, we had a deal, you reneged.
