They do it to, to an extent.

But Hillary called Trump the day after the last election, and also conceded publicly, and called on her supporters to unite behind the new President. Obama met with Trump the same week, and made it an easy transition for Trump and his team.

Meanwhile, in 2020, an anxious planet waits for Trump to publicly work through all of the stages of grief before everyone can move on, and before Biden & his team can get the kind of access and information they need to keep America secure come January.

Trump's tantrum is an embarrassment. Though, it was the most predictable thing ever, also.

I guess you're trying to justify it w/ some whataboutism?

im disputing the claim that trump is an unprecedented aberration. none of this is new. Democrats have done the same stuff and never cared.

As impactful and baseless as this? I'd disagree. But there are also great montages of Republicans after '16 and '18 saying the same things that Democrats are saying today about "sore losers" and "no proof of fraud."

    It's funny how that works.

From my perspective, this is just predictable. This is always who Trump has been. It's not the best thing for the country right now.

No they haven't. This is a false equivalence. No President has ever refused to begin the transition process or allow the result to be certified by GSA. It has never happened. Hilary Clinton could not have possibly done this, because she was not the sitting President.

Trump has eliminated ' shame ' from US politics.

He is still not getting his PDBs, that’s dangerous as well as childish of Trump, but I expect nothing less from the man child.

The same bureaucrats that "resisted" for the past four years have been leaking information to the DEMOCRATS and their media allies regardless of security strictures, haven't they?

Fuck access. Until they are no longer private citizens, let the Logan Act stand. Also, why does Quid Pro Joe need access to information that he's just going to forget five minutes later?
