Default The coronavirus vaccine. Good news and bad news.

I saw on the news last night that they will probably be coming out with a coronavirus vaccine in about a week that is around 90% effective. That's pretty good. Though how well it might work against different strains of the coronavirus isn't clear. And there have been at least 7 different strains of the coronavirus that have mutated into being here and probably Europe. I also read about a paper that came out of China recently that hasn't been peer reviewed. It said that scientists there have identified around 30 new strains of the coronavirus that have mutated into being.

Probably the biggest problem with the coronavirus vaccine right now is that even if it is approved for use in a week, it will take many months to inoculate everybody. And right now we are in the midst of a second wave of it. It will be carnage. Also, from what they said, this new coronavirus vaccine has to be stored at around 90 degrees below zero. Is this stuff in liquid form? Because I can't think of any kind of liquid that wouldn't freeze solid at 90 degrees below zero. Maybe pure alcohol wouldn't. I'm not sure. Also, from what they were saying on the news, because of the complicated nature of the vaccine, it will only be able to be given out in hospitals. That isn't good news.

There is one thing that all the scientists seem to agree about when it comes to the coronavirus. Which is that there is much we don't know about it. So if you are counting on this new coronavirus vaccine to cure all our troubles, you shouldn't be too optimistic.

If the Islamic terrorists were any good they would be taking out the Pfizer plant in Kalamazoo right now....As Jordan Peterson and Camille Paglia have said we have been lucky to this point that they rarely get their act together.

It's -70C not -90C. Also they are working on a powder version of the vaccine as well. The Oxford vaccine can be stored at a much higher temperature. Read this excellent article and then you won't have to ask any more naive questions.

AstraZeneca-Oxford’s ChAdOx1 vaccine (also christened AZD1222 and Covishield in India), which will be manufactured in India by Serum Institute, will have to be refrigerated at 2-8 degrees Celsius.

Facts are tough. You are a righty so you can make up your own. The sad part is about 40 percent of Americans say they would not take a vaccine. This one takes 2 shots a month apart. How many would follow up? The cost? It will be high. Of course, what does a small town without a freezer that can do 100 below zero do?

You're a very stupid man, the vaccine is stored at -70C and then thawed prior to use. All you ever do is spout bullshit, you never bother to learn the truth!

Moderna, which initially stored its vaccine at minus 70 degrees Celsius, now plans to ship the shots at minus 20, the company said. Once thawed, the vaccine can remain refrigerated for a week.

Johnson & Johnson’s JNJ-78436735 single-shot vaccine is expected to be shipped commercially at standard refrigeration, a spokesman said. AstraZeneca-Oxford’s ChAdOx1 vaccine (also christened AZD1222 and Covishield in India), which will be manufactured in India by Serum Institute, will have to be refrigerated at 2-8 degrees Celsius. Russia’s Sputnik V vaccine stipulates storage at a temperature not higher than –18 degrees Celsius.

Well that's what they said on the news. 90 degrees below zero. Was it "fake news?" I don't see why they would lie about it.

What harm could it possibly do even if it was faulty in some way. A lot less than what the coronavirus is doing.

Yes it's stored at -70C (-90F) and thawed out prior to use.
