It isn't a matter of what color people are, it's a matter of what society they live in and how they have come to think of their position within that society that matters. What has made America great is American society and how it lives and thinks. By comparison, what has stifled all of Central and South America is they inherited Spanish culture. Canada remained a colonial possession of Britain. Arab culture and dar al Islam color the Middle East. You can see this across the planet. Culture and social norms are what makes or breaks a nation. Progressive Leftist culture and societies wherever they have formed have always ended up a net negative on the nation they formed in. Today we're facing that same situation in America. The Left is working to destroy American culture and replace it with multiculturalism which will do nothing but, in the end, drag the nation down into mediocrity.

Anchorage is a very diversified city with a great public school system, as good as private schools I remember in Louisiana. From what I hear it’s basically child neglect to send your kids to a public school anywhere in the whole state of Louisiana. I have no answer.

In anchorage a kid is free to attend any public school he chooses , availability dependent of course. Of course most go in their neighborhood. For some reason dims are against school choice. Go figure.
