Default GDP increased by 33.1% in third quarter

All you miserable peasants constantly talking down the economy had just better shut up from now on. Trump is back!

US GDP surged a record 33% in the 3rd quarter as the economy reopened, roughly double the next-biggest jump

what "context"? - a "v shaped recovery"? - which Biden would destroy with tax hikes

When you lose close to 50 million jobs & many of those are just because of temporary shutdowns, of course people are going to get hired back quickly and the GDP will grow out of proportion.

    I mean, really?

man you are as crappy at economics as politics.

    Q. what happens when you shutdown large parts of the economy and displace 50 million workers and then re-open?
    A. Nobody knows, but to get the economy back in place means the underyling economy must be awesome.

    and

Q.What happens if you raise corp. and individual taxes in a recovery?
    A. everyone know the recovery is damaged

The idea of a V recovery is more aspirational. We all hope for that.

Given the pandemic's increasing #'s and persistence, it's probably not likely.

Oh - so, with COVID raging throughout the upcoming months and winter coming, it will just continue smoothly along that upward path?

Can I bump this in December?

If Trump wins, feel free to bump, but do you at least get the fact we just had a v recovery?

    You're talking like we're recovered.

We'll judge if it's a V recovery when the economy is actually BACK.

I'm all for it, but you guys are being way too rosy about it. America is suffering right now.
