I’m still going to be making calls for the Democrats this weekend.

Yeah, it could go either way. Trumptards running amuck with their bang-bangs, or a lot of fuss and bluster but not much else.

I'm more concerned that the Toadstool is going to try to tie the election results up in the courts.

I don't worry myself about AOC. She's just some rep from some district 1000 miles away that I don't care about, although it IS funny how much of a tither she can get the Reichwingers into every time she says something. I like Bernie and voted for him in the primaries, but unfortunately the rest of the voters didn't agree.

AOC is the lightning rod, but the fact remains many Independents believe the Democrats have gone too far Left. Sure, they also agree the Republicans are too far Right, but that doesn't fix anything much less political partisanship.

An example is Pelosi knew the impeachment was a loser which would waste time, money and political capital. She fought it but the "AOC" crowd pushed her to the point of risking losing her Speakership.

Biden may be or become America's Grandpa and present televised 15 minute fireside chats Saturday evenings just before dinner but that doesn't change the nature of the Democratic party or the people leading it other than Biden, Schumer and Pelosi. There's still the 50ish Democrat Senators, 217ish Representatives and all those powerful LWers in non-political positions.

They'll be easy targets. Better, IMO, if neighborhoods adopt a common t-shirt, XL, worn on the outside of clothes, but just picking out the idiots all decked out in military gear and Hawaiian shirts will be a clue too.

The good news is that people like the TD twins and Grokmaster are too old and too fat to be involved. They'll be pounding away in over-sized, all caps font but they'll be safe behind their keyboards.

That's my main concern., but also in the time between Nov 3 to Mid January he can still do some serious damage.

Correction: Some (D)s were pushing for impeachment right after the Toadstool was sworn in. Pelosi resisted it for years. But once the intel came out that #TRE45ON was using legally-approved-by-Congress foreign aid as a bribe to get dirt on Biden, she really had no choice but to bring articles of impeachment. She knew that they didn't have the votes in the Senate, but that wasn't the point. The point was to censure the out-of-control corruption promoted by #TRE45ON. And so it was done. Forever after the sordid creature in our White House will have "impeached" attached to his accursed name.

As for the (D)s going "too far left," that's nonsense. They have steadily marched rightward since the 1960s. In fact, they are closer today to 1960s (R)s than they are to the liberal (D)s of days of yore.

You and I both know that a year ago this month it became very heated.

A clear, factual view of history will include the fact Washington, DC's focus on impeachment superseded the increasing din of alarm bells in the medical world. The Democrats pushed and the Trump administration was so focused upon pushing back that the pandemic quickly became politicized once it was finally recognized by the public. That's the real problem facing the nation; a government that's about as functional as the Italian governments.

It's not about party politics or methods. It's about agendas and methods. Both parties are like a bitter married couple constantly fighting and throwing shit at each other. The American public are the kids caught in the middle.

Most of the idiots blathering and screeching about "civil war" are too old, fat, crippled, and/or lazy to enlist. The others look overweight and slow. Easy pickings.
