For generations, we thought that in the end, the Supremes would save us. They were not super political and would generally rule wisely and somewhat fairly.
The Repubs set out on a program to take over the Federal courts and the Supremes. They accomplished that at the expense of Americans trusting our court system. We know why Trump was told to fix the Supremes. It is a deliberate takeover of the right to control them. They also have connections to the Whitehouse. The walls between the judicial and executive are gone.
This is a disaster for the country
Rightys should be ashamed. That mess is what Trump calls winning.

Mitch has pretty much set “cause we can” as the guiding principle behind any action in the Legislature, and the GOP has bought into it, ergo, whatever happens when and if the Democrats retake the Senate will be acceptable

Adding Justices is an option, so is limiting years serving as a Justice along with age restrictions, two current conservative Justices are in their seventies, and Roberts in his mid sixties, plus there are plenty of other options

In addition, we can just caulk up the SCOTUS as just one more institution that Trump has turned to shit
