Agreed. Once the parameters of "too much" and "optimal" are established, bracketing weather-based voting behavior, then that behavior becomes more predictable. My guess is it's a lot more noticeable in high density areas where public transportation is common compared to rural areas even though inclement weather adversely impacts voter participation.
Regardless, weather doesn't appear to be an adverse factor for Election Day 2020.

Democrats chose to fight the elements to vote, Trump voters are left behind in freezing condition in Omaha because of poor planning. 7 elderly Trump supporters hospitalized with hypothermia. I wonder if those folks are still Trump supporters. Trump bussed them to the rally, but left them stranded. This is the perfect demonstration of Trump’s entire Presidency. Trump has left us behind in the COVID, and he doesn’t care.

You've used up all of your voters during early voting (especially mail-in ballots) due to fear mongering over covid, remember???
Dems don't have any voters left for election day, dumbass...
Repubs, on the other hand, have a huge wave of voters that are gonna turn out on election day and the Dems will handily lose...

Hello Dutch Uncle,
Let's hope your gamble to vote third party in a narrow sing state pays off and you are not left kicking yourself.
I bet there are a lot of Florida people who still regret their votes for Nader in Y2K. They could have gotten Gore and action on Climate Change, but instead they got W and burning Iraqi oil wells.

My conscience is clear regardless of the outcome. If more people voted Third Party then maybe we wouldn't have to constantly pick the Lesser of Two Evils.
Their choice. IMO, if a person regrets their choice, then they didn't think about it enough before voting. Considering the negative impact the Clintons had on the nation, I used to regret voting for Perot, but now I don't. I strictly vote my conscience. What others do is their choice and I'm a big supporter of choice.

Agreed. Although it won't be known for a few months, I'm curious to see the results of an in-depth analysis of the 2020. Things such as:
Analysis of the strategies of both campaigns.
The impact of COVID not just on Trump's approval rating, but on people actually being able to vote in a pandemic.
The impact of Trump's advice to vote twice and, mostly, not trust mail-in balloting coupled with his COVID-spreader events.
Trump's support for domestic terrorists and attacks on Americans.

Motivation is a great tool. Anyone who has accomplished a great personal goal knows that it requires motivation. Earn good grades, complete a degree or course of training (boot camp is highly recommended!), get an important position, etc require motivation.
That said, people do seem much more motivated this election cycle than in earlier years. Probably not since 2008.
Another good reason to not only have the election over but letting the numbers roll in as the dust settles.
