In '16, at this point trump was holding rallies and lying to Midwest labor unions and anyone who saw their jobs being offshored. He also lied about 'much better health insurance at a fraction of the cost'. He lied about 'raising taxes on my friends...they will be so mad at me'.
A small handful of people believed him. Barely enough to put him over the top.
Now he's holding rallies with no lies about policy positions. He's just insulting every single demographic that he hopes will vote for him.
Biden is speaking directly to those who have been suffering under trump's incompetence.
Voter suppression is the only weapon trump has.
