Default McConnell has already decided Trump’s going to lose.

“McConnell has already decided Trump’s going to lose”
    Bill Palmer | 10:00 pm EDT October 26, 2020

    Palmer Report » Analysis

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is busy ramming through an unpopular far-right Supreme Court nominee, even while refusing to take up an economic relief package at a time when Americans are hurting. With election day just eight days away, these are not winning strategies. Even Trump seems to want a stimulus of some kind, yet McConnell won’t let it happen. So what is McConnell doing?

Democratic Senator Sherrod Brown appeared on the Joy Reid show on MSNBC tonight and stated his view that “McConnell has already decided Trump’s going to lose.” Brown also believes that McConnell expects to lose the Senate majority. If McConnell doesn’t see any way that this election can go the Republicans’ way, it would make sense (in his evil mind) that there’s no point in bothering to do anything that would appeal to voters.

We believe Senator Brown is correct. If Mitch McConnell thought his party had a shot at winning the presidency and/or the Senate, he’d be doing some kind of stimulus package this week so he could take credit for it. Instead he’s trying to make sure the economy is still a mess when Joe Biden takes office, to make things harder for him out of the gate. McConnell thinks he’s lost, and he’s just trying to pillage while he can; in January he’ll be relegated to the relatively powerless role of Senate Minority Leader.

But this doesn’t mean we can rest easy. Even if McConnell is right that Trump and the GOP Senate are on track to lose, it’ll only happen if we actually turn out and vote. We must spend these final eight days focused on turnout, turnout, and turnout.

odd conclusion, given that its the demmycunts who refused to do a relief package because they wanted the economy to be bad so Trump WOULDN'T get elected.......

Ted Cruz praised Joe Biden's debate performance and suggested that the Hunter Biden thing was a non-issue. They ALL know Trump is going to lose. Bigly. They are preparing to advance the narrative that they were never really on his side. Won't work.

Ouch. That's gonna leave a mark. Yes, May 15th. Three trillion dollars. McConnell knew he didn't have the votes in his OWN CAUCUS. The lack of a stimulus package is on Mitch McConnel and Donald J. Trump. It's my impression that Pelosi and Mnuchin have bargained in good faith and likely would have struck a deal, but you can't strike a bargain on behalf of Trump. Too many Republicans have found that out the hard way.

McConnell refused to pass a bill without liability protection for businesses. They do not want to be responsible if their demands cause employees to get sick.

Sounds like the SS Bone Spur is heading down & no one will save it..........

Is the wall done?? Has China come to heel? he has so much more work to be done............
"There is no question former President Trump bears moral responsibility. His supporters stormed the Capitol because of the unhinged falsehoods he shouted into the world’s largest megaphone," McConnell wrote. "His behavior during and after the chaos was also unconscionable, from attacking Vice President Mike Pence during the riot to praising the criminals after it ended."
