I'm not entirely sure Trump knows when he's lying. However, there is no excuse for people like McConnel, Graham, and Pence. Those are some irredeemable cunts.

I see you blaming the GOP ... but it was specifically Chuck Schumer who changed the rules to ram through court appointments despite Republican opposition. The Republicans didn't change any rules; they respectfully adhered to all the rules Chuck Schumer forced upon the Senate.

So ... we can agree that Schumer is entirely to blame for rules that allow a simple majority to confirm court appointments rather than requiring 60% approval, right?

I'm not a Democrat.

The Senate & President should work together when there is a vacancy. What McConnell did was as cynical as anything I've seen in politics.

Garland was very moderate. It would have helped the integrity of the court to have just gone through the process at that time - and conservatives would still have a majority.
