To begin with, and there are many other problems, private schools can flush, they can hand pick the students they want to attend leaving others out, meaning tax dollars meant to educate everyone is going to be spent on a few while schools who have to teach everyone loses needed funding in the process

That is not the case. Charter schools have their issues but what sets them apart and why they often perform better is because they aren't as tied to the educational bureaucracy and teachers unions thus are allowed more freedom to be creative.

Living in New York I know you see exactly what I see in SF and the Bay Area and L.A. Parents with money who give lip service to public education and then do two things; 1) send their kids to private school or 2) move to a largely white suburb with good public schools

The problem of course is for kids whose family don't have the money for private school or to move to a high end suburb. It's been the same argument for decades 'the status quo is find we just need more money'. We give schools more money and results don't change. But that doesn't stop the teachers unions, and by proxy the Democratic Party politicians who they support, from fighting against any changes.

And this is about all kids, not just black kids (although on a percentage basis it affects more black kids).

HORSEH SHIT. THE $ PER STUDENT IN GOVERNMENT SCHOOLS GOES UP WHEN SCHOOL CHOICE IS ALLOWED, AS ONLY HALF THE MONMEY ALLOTED PER STUDENT IS ALLOWED FOR VOUCHERS, LEAVING THE SCHOLL WITH HALF THE FUNDING THEY HAD FOR A STUDENT WHO IS NO LONGER THERE.

Fact: Many poor kids around the country are in failing schools today. And you’re method of changing nothing but saying we simply need more money isn’t really working. Charter schools aren’t a panacea but they have proven to deliver results and in the neediest areas. But your ideology can’t accept those positive results so you turn to calling others bigots.
