I was stuck in a car with a progressive in his time on a several hundred mile road trip just after the law started.

It was long and torturous.

I flaunted it regularly. Remember one I did in a friend's Pontiac Catalina station wagon. Phoenix to Hacienda Heights a suburb of LA in just over 4 hours. At one point near Riverside we were barreling down I 10 at about 90 mph with a Porsche and a Cutlass keeping pace with us.

There's still a law on the books in Arizona that driving between 55 and 75 mph on an interstate or highway is a no-points non-moving violation "Wasting a natural resource" law.

I'd say the average speed on I 10 right now is about 80 to 85 mph with some cars going 90+. Posted is 75mph and DPS won't hassle you until you exceed 85...

I'm betting masks get the same treatment coming soon, if not already.
