“The people who support the form of “Democratic Socialism” touted by the likes of Biden always like to tout the “successes” of many of the Nordic countries and European countries. I don’t know about you but I’d hate to live in any of those countries. I mean, if it was all I ever knew maybe it’d be ok but I have known freedom here in the US. I know freedoms are greatly restricted in those countries. I also know that there are taxes to be paid on almost everything in many of those countries. No, I don’t want to see the US re-made in their image...at all.”

My niece and her husband moved back from Germany. They were fined $3000 because they used too much electricity. Not that they didn’t pay for what they used...they were told they used too much so they were fined. Not freedom.

I have friends who live in the U.K. The city in which they live won’t let them keep the guns they own at their house. They have to keep them at the gun club or whatever it is called. It is my understanding that the gun laws there are largely city specific and determined by the chief of police or constable ... whatever he is called. Again, not freedom.

These are just personal examples. I’m sure I could find more. I’m sure I can...but I won’t. There is no way I want to live like that.

I was told the other day by a liberal cousin of mine that my belief that an able bodied/minded person should have to work for what he has is akin to slavery. Really? Slavery? Unbelievable! Whatever... I’ll never vote for someone because they’re offering me free stuff.
