You don't get to declare history before it happens. You are not a time traveler. You don't get to approve or deny a supreme court nominee. The Senate does.

All true my friend. Barrett will get the nod, and I can't do anything about that. I am not really anti-Barrett- and certainly not pro-Barrett.

But, I also believe that the Justices on the Supreme court will ask Barrett to recuse herself on any decisions until after the new president is sworn in.

I think the Justices are not comfortable with the selection this late in the election, so they will be asking her to recuse herself for a few weeks to keep things fair.

I think Barrett will cooperate with their advise and recuse herself and look ahead at her opportunities.

Things will settle down by then, and she'll work out fine after that!

Trump knows nothing about her. It is a Federalist Society pick and McConnell's. Trump just followed orders. He does want the court stacked in case it makes the decision in who won the election. He has that decision locked down. Rightys like that.

I am really not so overly concerned about Barrett.

The Supreme Court Justices are not feeling comfortable with a new Justice this close to an election, and I bet Barrett is not comfortable about the timing either, so the court will be asking her to recuse herself from deciding cases until after a new president is sworn in- and she will do it just because it is the right thing to do.

Now if she does not, the Democrats will just have to pack the court! LOL!
