All over the world, apparently, a very high proportion, particularly of young people, are losing faith in democracy, and if Trump (and his puppet, Johnson) are what it produces, can you wonder! Despite the current success of China, though, I can't say I fancy its possible replacements.

Hong Kong has its own as well. They make their own rules. At least they did back around the turnover in '97.
My horse won an international race back then and the purse was $2.1 mil U.S. The HKJC determines in conjunction with local government who owes taxes on the winnings.
The owner (me) pays zero. Same with my groom and exercise rider. We just take care of filing in our normal way here every year in April. My trainer and jockey however do
have local HK taxes which are deducted from their share of the winning purse.

And, he knew the store would retain possession after 45 days. Maybe it was his way of "passively" getting out from under the control and pimping of his father. Stranger things have been done
in bad father/son relationships. Whatever the reasons, Hunter's been fragile for years full of poor decision making and drugs to dull the pain. The family dynamic has not been good.
He may have finally just said, "screw it" and let the chips fall where they may.

C,mon put a little effort in. The FBI warned Trump that Rudy was being used by Russians, Rudy is not subtle and his path was obvious. Rudy has been working with Russians since 2016. He was running out of time and dropped a crappy story onto us 3 weeks before the election. The story of the proprietor has been terrible and waffling. The whole thing stinks. Not a scintilla of the story has been verified.
