Default Second Trump-Biden debate to feature a 'mute' button, organizers say

(Reuters) - Thursday’s debate between President Donald Trump and Democratic challenger Joe Biden will feature a mute button to allow each candidate to speak uninterrupted, organizers said on Monday, in an effort to avoid the disruptions that marred the first matchup.

Trump repeatedly interrupted Biden during a chaotic and ill-tempered debate on Sept. 29, and Biden responded with insults.

You think that’s a good thing but it’s actually a bad thing lol.

Democrats won’t be able to whine about Trump interrupting Biden; more importantly, Biden will have to talk without being interrupted and/or rescued by Chris Wallace.

    I’m looking forward to it.

Biden's townhall worked out very well. He's a good speaker.

Not really. Trump just yells and shouts. He's a national disgrace.

The so-called mod will keep Biden on track, you can count on that.

What are the odds Trump won't show for an honest debate?

Trump will show up. He will find ways to violate debate rules again.

He'll just do even more damage to his campaign with less than two weeks to the election.

Except for his most ardent base, most people would likely switch to something else and vote Biden.
