You missed my entire point. Impeachment is a political process. Successful impeachments involve both parties and enjoy increasing levels of support as the process proceeds forward. Smart politicians don't proceed with impeachment until they have that sort of backing. Idiot politicians do bulldozer ahead with the process.

It mattered not to them that trump had committed crimes, just as it matters not to you, he was their boy, and that was all that mattered.
