There is no question Paul was inspired by Jesus, and experienced some sort of epiphany. That passes the sniff test for historicity. Whether Jesus was a human prophet, a divine being, or something in between is an open question not available to historical analysis

I believe a lot of the accounts of miracles performed are apocryphal or metaphorical. The story about Jesus and the prostitute in John did not even exist in the NT until the middle ages.

The noteworthy thing to me, is the NT gives a sense that Jesus was inspirational and was a moral teacher for a lot of people in the first century. His message of salvation and spiritual equality was truly radical for the time.
