Consult a dictionary next time and you might avoid displaying what you don't know. It means what "probe" usually means - looking into, in this case examining investigations by members of the Obama administration into the Russian contacts by the Trump campaign.

Barr spent a lot of time and money trying to prove it. Of course he hid the investigation when it failed. Now you try that as an excuse. I guess you still believe it.
