I can’t bring myself to obsess over it to that degree.

When I wake up in the morning I don’t think to myself “is this the day I catch the China virus?” In fact, if I wasn’t constantly reminded of it, I would hardly think about it at all.

So, maybe I’m sitting out the war, idk lol. Someone let me know when it’s over.

We never reached a peak. What we had was a 'shelf.' It reached a level and leveled off, but the number of Active Cases never fell. They just stayed on, and then they started rising again. The number of daily deaths fell. That was good. But then they stopped falling, and lately have begun to rise as well.

Every country where people have fought against scientific measures to combat the disease, the numbers have been rising. In countries where the public is united in their response, the pandemic has remained under control much better.

Countries that are united in their response do well.

Countries that are divided fare much worse.

I am on the side of humans, which is why I object when we humans slit our own throats, which is what we do when we kill our economy and damage the mental health of everyone especially the kids and allow power to enact martial law lockdowns even as they excuse the paramilitary forces of the revolution rioting on the streets for a bug that has a kill rate of only slightly above the rate of the seasonal flu.
