I would say that Pelosi is taking an unnecessary risk here.

The dynamics of this race are excellent for Democrats right now. Why mess w/ it? In a few short weeks, the cloud that has been hanging over the party & the country is VERY likely going to be voted out. The polls are as good as they've been for the opposing party and candidate in many years.

Trump needs a game-changer. It could happen, but it's not likely. This is something they don't need & that could backfire.

I can’t wrap my brain around it. It’s either a kind of insurance policy [the second one] in the event ‘the unthinkable’ happens and Trump pulls it out. It’s entirely plausible there’s some internal polling that doesn’t paint the Rosey picture the media polls are putting out.

This is a set-up to remove Biden and install Harris.

Or Pelosi has simply lost her marbles.

Wrong of course. It is a bill and it begins in 2024. assuming it passes. You may think that takes Trump out. Most of us do not.This is one of the housekeeping bills Trump proved were needed. he ignore the 25th when he was in the hospital too sick to do the job.
