Pelosi’s husband among lawmaker-linked PPP loan recipients
Nancy Pelosi’s husband was among the lawmaker-linked "businesses" that got Paycheck Protection Program loans.
Pelosi spokesman Drew Hammill said her husband, Paul Pelosi, is “was not involved in or even aware of this PPP loan.”
In two deals brokered by Nancy Pelosi, Congress approved $670 billion for the program.
The Paycheck Protection Program was designed to sustain the income of workers who would otherwise have been without pay or employment at no fault of their own during the coronavirus pandemic.
