The Chinese were always going to rebuild the Empire as early and as wide as they could, we have going all the way back to Nixon at least not understood them a lick (Exactly the same problem we have had in the Middle East, to tragic result).

What the Chinese never expected though was that the West was so corrupt and ready to crumble as we have.

They were hoping for more time to get ready to run the world.
