There are mental health issues everywhere. It is a problem without fantastic solutions. But everyone else(in the first world) has a much lower murder rate.

Lets require a background check to buy a gun, and say that if you sell a gun without that background check, you go to prison. Lets say people with mental health problems should not be allowed to buy guns. Lets allow guns to be traced using a computer. Why are these controversial?
