Default CDC Publishes — Then Withdraws — Guidance On Aerosol Spread Of Coronavirus

Sounds like the Trump administration was strong arming the CDC?!!

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention posted guidance Friday evening saying that aerosol transmission might be one of the "most common" ways the coronavirus is spreading — and then took it down on Monday.

The now-deleted updates were notable because so far the CDC has stopped short of saying that the virus is airborne.

The agency says the guidance was a draft version of proposed changes that was posted in error to its website. The CDC says that it is updating its recommendations regarding airborne transmission of the virus that causes COVID-19 and that it will post updated language once that process is complete.

Over the weekend, the CDC page "How COVID-19 Spreads" included among the most common modes of transmission "respiratory droplets or small particles, such as those in aerosols, produced when an infected person coughs, sneezes, sings, talks, or breathes."

    Default

Do we really need the CDC to nanny us this late in the game lol.

Don’t want the China Virus that came from China and China failed to contain? Here you go:

-avoid crowded indoor places—particularly, poorly ventilated places
    -wash your hands

Do those two[2] things—and even lose the face diaper, and your odds of catching the WuFlu would still be in the basement. The reason crowded bars are COVID hotspots is because THEY ARE CROWDED. Ditto subways. Ditto NYC.

Casually passing by shoppers in huge box stores with 20’ ceilings—not so much. COVID transmission requires a time-period of contact with another infected individual. That’s why so much transmission is intra-familial.

We know all these things by now. Even if airborne transmission is going on it pales in comparison to the rates of *known* routes of transmission.

Also, if airborne transmission is significant—might was well take the mask off because it won’t do a damn thing. Come to think of it—maybe that’s why they back tracked.

    Maybe it was an oops.
