    Yeah, Americans are not going to be extorted by threats of violence and rioting. Not even urban dwellers.

    The Senate majority leader controls the Senate. Right now he is a Republican, and he was when a Democratic president tried to get a nominee through in an election year. We have a Republican president and the Senate has all the power it needs to confirm another justice.
