Little could motivate more voters on the left than Trump rushing in another conservative SCOTUS judge. It is a call to votes.

Trump jamming a hard Right judge onto the Supreme Court, pushing it even further to the right, is a legitimate concern for all Americans. Even Republican voters. Most people understand the need for balance in government, even if they prefer it to lean one direction or the other. Having a hard Right 6-3 court is disconcerting for a lot more people than Biden voters.

While Trump is certainly trying to please the Fundamentalists and Republican hardliners, that's less than 30% of the vote. Trump risks alienating a majority of the Independents, who constitute 40% of the vote. This could backfire badly for both him and the Republican Senate.

Within 90 minutes of her passing being announced to the press, ActBlue reported receiving $6.2 million in donations from Democratic voters, which was a record amount for ActBlue's 16-yr history.

That record was broken the following hour when another $6.3 million was donated.

The lesson?

Her death has galvanized the left. There will be even larger voter turnout for Biden now.
