You know what for years we have been told that we should have confirmed Garland and that it was illegal and unconstitutional for the Senate not to give him a hearing during the run up to the election. Im a big enough man to admit when im wrong. We have to rectify this mistake by making sure Garret gets her hearing (and possible confirmation) before the election.
The injustice already happened to Garland. Lets not let it happen to Barret too.
JPP is a steel cage match - no holds barred. It's not a place for nuance and niceties
-more like beating each other over the head with occasional pithy insults to make it interesting
Go to D.Politics for civil discourse. just roll with it here
it's strange, demmycrats seem to believe that they can do things like remove presidents and block SC nominations even though they are the minority party in the senate....if they wanted to do those things they shouldn't have lost senate seats in 2018.......poor planning.....

“Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the Lord Almighty.”

The United States pushed the USSR until it collapsed upon itself as all socialist nations eventually do.
The Cold War ended upon the collapse of the USSR, but Russia is still attacking the USA. Trump pooh-poos those attacks and Trumpeteers on this forum do the same. They defend Russia's right to attack the US today because the US did the same to them during the Cold War.

One day a Russian patriot will stand up for his nation and cap Putin in the back of the head. Maybe Putin's entire security team will do to him what Caligula's Praetorian Guard did to Caligula.

Rome soon grew to hate its leader, and citizens began a secret push to get rid of him. On January 24, 41 A.D., Caligula was attacked by a group of guardsman, following a sporting event. During the assassination, Caligula was stabbed 30 times, and killed. His body was dumped into a shallow grave, and his wife and daughter were murdered.
Caligula's death pushed the Senate to immediately order the destruction of his statues in hopes of eradicating him from Rome's history. Still, more than two millennia since his rule, Caligula's legacy is deemed a fascinating piece of Roman history.

I suggest you look at the latest from AOC who wants to impeach Trump or AG Barr to stop the ratification of a new SCOTUS justice. That sport is nothing but a power grab and partisan politics.is everything about a power-grab and just any bullshit you can make up along the way to make that happen?
