You could be correct, if I had to bet, my money would be on after the election. They are pussies.

Let me ask this... and I honestly don't know so I am seeking your insight, if you have any. . . Why would this help Trump. If he gets a new S.Ct. on the bench, many centerists might well think... Ok, the S.Ct is shorn up for a few decades, Trump's* usefulness is over, lets cut the bleeding for the Republican party and get rid of him.

An independent friend of mine who voted for Trump* basically said as much to me before Ginsberg died, that he voted for Trump because he felt we had gone too far left, but now he feels we have gone too far right. He is voting Biden...

I understand the Republicans are excited about the S.Ct., but as far as Trump* is concerned, he will win the S. Ct. battle, but it does not seem to me a lock that doing so will help him win the election.

If you had a good argument you would not need to stoop to insults.

A truly good argument would stand on it's own merit.

By adding the cheap stuff, your argument is cheapened.

Very logical reasoning~the attraction to trump isn't always based on logic..............

"There is no question former President Trump bears moral responsibility. His supporters stormed the Capitol because of the unhinged falsehoods he shouted into the world’s largest megaphone," McConnell wrote. "His behavior during and after the chaos was also unconscionable, from attacking Vice President Mike Pence during the riot to praising the criminals after it ended."

    And therein lies the problem.

Since the attraction to Trump is emotional, logic won't explain the reasoning.

Most Trump voters were voting for a TV character.

They called it a 'reality show,' but the only thing that was real were the low-paid guests who played along with a fictional narrative portrayed by Trump.

He was a terrible businessman in real life. He went bankrupt repeatedly. He ripped people off, stiffed contractors, swindled investors. That's the reality

I think there are some(I corrected my thought/post) that could have a logical reason/s but IMHO the vast majority are locked into their choice & are simply unable to change it-admit that he isn't what they thought etc........

I agree for many it is emotional but I also believe it is more than that, unfortunately...

    It's wishful thinking.

    Greed is an emotion.

It is an irrational desire for something.

    Lust for power and control?

I don't disagree that emotion is part, we are emotional beings......

I believe it is more than just that though..........

Sadly we can see that their faith in trump is stronger than their faith in their spouse, kids or their claimed gawds..........

They believe his ever decision is correct & thus far everything he has done was correct/best etc............

They are invested & any contrary evidence will be brutally filtered as in my signature..

The mind can build an impenetrable wall around it~perhaps evolved from some defense mechanism & it is impervious to logic or reason..

The current SCOTUS is a good example......

Moscow mitch was right for screwing Obama's pick for reasons X Y Z~ values, logic, reason, constitution

    & now?

uoᴉʇnʇᴉʇsuoɔ 'uosɐǝɹ 'ɔᴉƃol 'sǝnlɐʌ ~Z ⅄ X suosɐǝɹ ɹoɟ ʞɔᴉd s,ɐɯɐqO ƃuᴉʍǝɹɔs ɹoɟ ʇɥƃᴉɹ sɐʍ ɥɔʇᴉɯ ʍoɔsoW

They see no contradiction in the obvious conflict w/ those values, logic etc.......
